Sanngai's (新霓) accessories are crafted using our innovative technology that emulates the structure of actual neon signs found in regions using Kanji characters (patent pending).

To authentically recreate the neon signs commonly seen in Asia (especially in Hong Kong), it's crucial to mimic the "floating neon sign tubes that are distanced from the color panel." Especially the area of the characters, our accessories are designed to give the appearance of floating within acrylic, replicating the "illuminated areas with a gap from the color panel." Made of acrylic, the character sections light up as light enters from the side, diffusing and reflecting the light.

This technique captures the unique layered appearance of actual neon signs when viewed from an angle, while also maintaining the feature that the "color panel" itself doesn't emit light. Moreover, a blur is present in the background section. This is because the real-life blurring of the "floating characters" doesn't happen with their illumination, so it is added as a complementary effect. This too helps in achieving a more realistic neon sign look.

Gently press a light source (such as your mobile phone's light) against the side of these accessories! The characters will appear to float and glow on the surface.
